JOB OPENING: SUPERVISOR COMMUNITY SERVICE DIVERSION PROGRAM
The Buchanan County Board of Supervisors is accepting applications for the position of Community Service Diversion Program Supervisor. The successful applicant shall be responsible to the Board of Supervisors for the proper management of a diversion program that provides the option to defendants convicted of crimes of performing community service in lieu of incarceration subject to the approval of the Court. The successful applicant must be able to perform managerial and administrative work and should possess excellent communication skills. The applicant must be able to pass a criminal background check. Also, the applicant must possess a valid driver's license. County residency is required within a mutually agreeable time. Work experience in probations and/or law enforcement is preferred.
Qualified applicants should submit a cover letter with salary requirements along with a completed application form and resume which includes at least three professional references. Applications may be obtained in the Buchanan County Administrator's Office. Applications may be submitted to the County Administrator's Office on the fourth floor of the Buchanan County Courthouse, or by mail to P. O.
